Frequently asked questions
Where do I find remaining debt, interest and instalment?
In your loan agreement and the latest statement of your loan account. The remaining debt is usually stated as of the end of the year, interest and instalment in the agreement.
Does the calculator account for the end of the fixed-rate period?
No. It uses the interest rate and instalment you enter until the loan is repaid. What happens after the fixed-rate period depends on your follow-up financing. Calculate again with a different rate and compare both results.
Does OWNAMIC tell me whether I can afford the loan?
No. OWNAMIC shows what your own figures add up to and does not judge them. For an assessment of your financing, your bank or independent advice is the right place.
A description, not advice. The calculator works only with your own figures, without inflation, returns or taxes. It does not calculate pension entitlements and does not replace pension, financial or lending advice.
