Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the model number?
On the rating plate of the appliance: on washing machines and dishwashers usually at the door, on ovens on the frame behind the door, on fridges inside on the side wall. Manufacturers name it differently, for example E-Nr. (Bosch, Siemens, Neff) or PNC (AEG).
Do you keep my manual?
No. Your PDF goes to OWNAMIC only for the one question. The server reads the text, answers the question and does not keep the file. So that you can file the manual with the device after registering, it stays in your browser until then, three days at most.
Why only one question without an account?
Every answer costs an AI call. Without an account there is therefore one question per manual. With an account the manual is filed with the device, and you ask OWNY further questions in the chat.
Where does the manual come from?
From you. You download it from the manufacturer's page; for ten widespread brands this page links to the right place. OWNAMIC neither searches for nor downloads third-party manuals and offers none for download.
OWNY is an AI assistant. The answers come from your manual and name the page; they can still contain mistakes. For gas, electricity, water and heating, ask a qualified professional if in doubt. OWNAMIC hosts no manuals and is not affiliated with the manufacturers named.
