How OWNAMIC protects your data
“I never wanted to hunt for a manual again – or, when something happens, have to write down from memory what was there. In OWNAMIC I photograph a room, OWNY recognises the things, and I attach receipt and manual straight to the device.”

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a guarantee and the statutory warranty?
In Germany the statutory warranty (Gewährleistung) means the seller is liable for two years for defects that existed at purchase when you buy new goods; in the first year a defect is presumed to have been there already. A guarantee is a voluntary promise by the maker or seller with its own terms. OWNAMIC keeps both deadlines; what applies in your case, you clarify with the seller or a consumer advice centre.
How long should I keep till slips?
At least as long as the statutory warranty or guarantee runs – for the warranty two years from purchase. What counts for a claim is the date of purchase and the seller; an invoice or bank statement will do, a faded thermal slip will not. A photo in OWNAMIC keeps the slip legible.
Does OWNAMIC remind me before a warranty runs out?
Yes. The deadline watch shows upcoming guarantee, warranty and servicing dates and reminds you beforehand. You can snooze, adjust or exclude a deadline. The deadlines rest on your details and receipts – they are not legal information.
General information, not legal advice. What rights you have in your case, you clarify with the seller, the maker or a consumer advice centre.
