An emergency binder, digital? So your family finds what it needs.

What you own, where the papers are and which contracts run: OWNAMIC keeps it in order, and you decide who may see it. A documentation aid – not a will.

Two ring binders with papers on a wooden table
  1. What you ownRoom by room by photo or video, valuables with receipt and where they are kept.
  2. Papers and contractsPolicies, contracts and accounts as copies, with a note where the original is.
  3. Share with people you trustA shared space for up to five people – they see only what you bring into it.
What OWNAMIC takes off your hands

The binder your family actually opens.

  • Belongings with place and receipt

Valuables, jewellery, vehicles and household items with photos, receipt and the place they are kept – room by room.

  • Papers as copies

Insurance policies, contracts, certificates and powers of attorney as scans in the right place, with a note where the original is.

  • Meant for

For heirlooms you note whom they are meant for, together with their story. It only becomes visible in a space you open for it.

  • Share with people you trust

Partner, children or a person you trust see in the shared space what you bring in – up to five people, each can only change their own entries.

What you can rely on

Private, encrypted, stored in Germany.

  • Stored in Germany Encrypted with AES-256 on servers in Germany; the AI analysis runs in the EU.
  • Your data is never sold No advertising with your entries, nothing passed on to third parties. You pay with your plan, not with your data.
  • AI only when you want it OWNY, the AI assistant, recognises and suggests – nothing is saved until you confirm it. You can switch it off, too.
  • No legal advice OWNAMIC helps you document. What applies legally in your case, you clarify with professionals – a consumer advice centre, a notary or a lawyer.

Frequently asked questions

What belongs in an emergency binder?

Usually three parts: personal directives such as powers of attorney and a living will, finances and contracts, and what you own. OWNAMIC helps with the last two: accounts, contracts, insurance and belongings with receipts. Powers of attorney and living wills you draw up with official forms or a notary; in OWNAMIC you keep a copy and note where the original is.

Does OWNAMIC store passwords and logins too?

No. OWNAMIC is not a password manager and not a digital legacy service. For logins use a password manager with emergency access; in OWNAMIC you can note that it exists and who knows about it.

Who can see my emergency binder?

Only you – until you share something. For family or a person you trust you set up a shared space. OWNAMIC opens nothing automatically, not even in the event of death; so share access in good time with the people who will need it.

A documentation aid, not legal advice. OWNAMIC does not replace powers of attorney, directives or a will – a notary, a lawyer or official forms are there for that.

OWNAMIC as an app

Add OWNAMIC to your Home Screen

iPhone and iPad have no install dialog – Apple leaves it to Safari's share menu. Three taps and OWNAMIC opens like any other app: full screen, with its own icon.

  1. Tap the share icon in Safari's bottom bar.
  2. Scroll down the list and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  3. Confirm with “Add” – OWNAMIC is now on your Home Screen.

Only Safari can put a web app on the iOS Home Screen. If you are reading this in another browser, open ownamic.com in Safari first.
